Cycling trip Louvain-La-Neuve - South of France for the benefit of Alliance Kivu

For the children, thank you ! 

After travelling through 2 countries, 7 regions/provinces and 12 departments, 1,178 km in 8 days, spending 48 h 50 in the saddle, 15,416 m of elevation gain, 233,803 pedal strokes and, above all, creating unforgettable memories, Baptiste arrived safely in Azillanet, his final destination.

This trip, organised for the benefit of the Alliance Kivu association, was extremely well received. Thanks to you, we surpassed our initial goal... Your donations will therefore allow us to sponsor the education of five children for not one year, nor two years, but three years... It's amazing! For them, thank you from the bottom of our hearts!

Inspired by this fabulous adventure, Baptiste wanted to share a few words with you.

First of all, I wanted to thank everyone who encouraged and supported me throughout my journey. It was a great help and pushed me through the more difficult moments!

From a personal point of view, this trip was a real pleasure for me from A to Z. It has allowed me to discover another way of travelling, more relaxed, less stressful, and above all enjoying every moment and the simple things of life. I travelled through some beautiful regions where I was amazed by what I saw ! I have also met some wonderful people throughout my trip. This trip has also allowed me to learn more about myself, to discover my moral and physical limits, to ask myself the right questions and to focus on what is essential. !

In silence and solitude, one hears only what is essential.
