Exceptional conference/debate with Colette Braeckman - Thursday 06 november 2025

Alliance Kivu organised on Thursday, 6 November 2025, a special debate with Colette Braeckman, Belgian journalist and senior reporter for the international section of Le Soir.  

Schedule for the evening: ​

  1. Nelly Mercier, our president, introduced the evening by presenting in a few minutes our association, our projects and our recent activities.
  2. After that, we took advantage of Ms. Braeckman's presence, expertise, and explanations to better understand the ins and outs of the situation in the Eastern Democratic Republic of Congo.
  3. After this speech, we also gave time to those present to ask Colette Braeckman their questions. This moment of exchange was an opportunity to deepen the debate together. ​
